This educational session will provide attendees with evidence-based methods for integrating yoga into orthopedic physical therapy treatments, including: a brief review of current literature, patient selection, application of impairment specific asanas (poses), the introduction of mindfulness strategies, clinical reasoning, problem-solving and case studies. The presentation will be delivered in a lecture and active lab format in the form of some practice of yoga poses or mindfulness strategies in chairs or on the floor.
